Sinclair meet with an old woman, this figure showed to the Sinclair a photo album that contain Demian’s mother photo. When Sinclair see Demian’s mother, he remember the woman like as in his dream that tall, almost masculine, woman who resemble Demian, with maternal traits, severity, passion, beautiful and alluring.

The restlessness always follow his journey until he enter a university in H. He feel nothing that interest, all is bore. The lecture and student always do same things everyday, old and bore. But at least Sinclair feel little have a freedom.

Late one evening, Sinclair walking through town, he follow two men who one of them is Japanese, they slowly walking past behind Sinclair. Sinclair know one of them is Demian, so that he follow them and relish the sound of Demian’s voice. When arrived at the end of a street in the suburbs, Sinclair call out Demian, then Demian meet him and talk about Demian’s mother and their past moment about Cain mark and their class confirmation and many other.

At one morning Sinclair come back to the garden in the edge of town where he had leave Demian at the night before. He visit the Demian’s house that bright and livable. In there he meet Demian’s mother, and for the first time he see the woman that in his dreams face to face, Sinclair very admire this woman. Demian’s mother had familiar with Sinclair by Demian’s story. They talk about the meeting between Demian and Sinclair, and they are share their thought and interpretation about life. Demian’s mother command to Sinclair become her close friends and call her Frau Eva. Then Frau Eva informate to the Sinclair that Demian in the garden, he practice to beat for boxing match that he had promise to the Japanese.

Sinclair involve in a conversation with Frau Eva everyday, they always share about life and world.
